We open our new Civic Center with our 2000 birthday greeting to Chayanne and a celebration of life!

Chayanne celebrates his birthday on June 28th. Isla de Chayanne has chosen to send Chayanne our love and wishes for his continued good health and happiness in a very unique way. We have selected UNICEF, champions of the world's children in need. The U.S. fund for UNICEF has a very special tribute card, which is handsomely engraved with this message:

We take great pleasure in informing you that a contribution to the United States Committee for UNICEF has been made in your honor by the Isla de Chayanne Web Site. This gift will make possible a healthier and happier future for many of the world's neediest children.

UNICEF will do a courtesy mailing to Chayanne, but we thought it would be more personal if they send the "Tribute Birthday Card" to the Civic Center and I would hand write the names of those who have chosen to participate and post it by special delivery to him. If you would like to be a part of this worthwhile tribute to Chayanne's birthday, send your check, in the amount that you choose, (made out to UNICEF) to our Civic Center Manager:
